On January 31, 2014, SPIN invited the students from Chestnut Hill College, along with the other SEPCHE schools, to attend a presentation to learn about the opportunities available at the organization. If you’re unfamiliar with what SPIN is all about, they are a nonprofit, human services organization aimed to provide the highest level of quality services and supports to children and adults with intellectual, developmental, and autism spectrum disabilities. Their mission is to embrace a “life of possibilities” so that everyone has an opportunity to live the life of their dreams and to reach their goals.

The presentation included 10 guest speakers who all earned their degree at a SEPCHE school and now work for SPIN. The speakers talked about what their major was during their undergraduate career and how they came about working for SPIN. Each employee had such passion when they were speaking, it was refreshing to see so many people who love what they do for a living and look forward to going to work everyday.
